June 29th 2014 International lonely bouquet day

Members of Redland Floral Art Club were very enthusiastic about taking part in the Annual Event of the Lonely Bouquet.

Val did such an excellent job of co-ordinating the day along with Irene our President. Members provided flowers along with donations of flowers from local suppliers, everyone appeared to embrace this event. Val, Irene & members spent the Saturday preparing the bouquets which were then placed, such as outside the hospital in the lift , on park benches, etc  around the Redlands for the public to adopt. Each bouquet had a label tied to it giving information about being adopted & how to let us know where it had found a home.  Val received such wonderful responses, it made a lot of people very happy . The members between them made & distributed 100 bouquets. Below are a few photos of the two days. It seems that it will become part of Redlands Floral Art Club Calendar.
